Joseph M. Román, is a Vice President and Senior Equity Trader at Atlanta Capital Management in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining Atlanta Capital in 1999, Mr. Román worked for the Nationwide Insurance Enterprise for six years, where he had positions in the Office of Finance and Investment Product Operations.
Mr. Román is a former president of the Georgia Securities Association (GSA) and has served on its board since 2002. As communications chair last year, he coordinated the redesign of the new GSA website.
Mr. Román is a graduate of Ohio State University, where he earned a BS degree and an MBA degree with concentrations in Finance and Investments. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts. Mr. Román enjoys living in Georgia with his wife, Cari, and their three children, Ariel, Charlotte, and Grant.
