John Russell is senior vice president and director of the U.S. Equity Trading for Franklin Advisers, Inc. He is responsible for managing the equity and convertible securities trading in the San Mateo, Ft. Lauderdale and New York offices.
Mr. Russell joined Franklin Templeton Investments in 1993 as a member of the Management Training Program.
Mr. Russell attended California State University at Northridge where he earned his B.S. in finance. He also holds an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University. He is Series 6, 7, 24 and 55 licensed.
Mr. Russell resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife and three children.
