Jennifer Setzenfand is a vice president and senior trader at Federated Investors, Inc., one of the nation’s largest investment managers. Along with trading equities, she specializes in structured notes, convertibles and options trading.
Jennifer has been in the securities business for more than a decade. Prior to joining Federated in 1997, she worked as a trader in the Chicago office of Mayer and Schweitzer and was introduced to the industry as a runner on the Chicago Stock Exchange.
In addition to her position as STA Governor, she also Co-Chairs the STA Institutional Committee. As a former president of the Pittsburgh Stock and Bond Association (PSBA), she served on its board for more than seven years. During her time with PSBA, Jennifer worked to increase membership and visibility for the organization. She is most proud of her accomplishments in the areas of member education and charity fundraising. She served on the STA Trading Issues and Institutional Committees, as well as the Affiliate Liaison Committee during her term as president.
Jennifer received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in finance from Ohio University in 1995. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she now enjoys living in Economy, Pennsylvania, with her husband Scott and daughters Zoe and Heidi.
