STA Office - New Location

The offices of the Security Traders Association are being relocated to Darien, Connecticut effective November 30, 2009.

The move provides an opportunity to capture the necessary office requirements and gain significant cost reduction.

As we prepare to enter 2010, it is clear that market structure issues will, again, be STA’s top priority.

More than ever STA’s voice is needed as we are witnessing greater pressure emanating from emotion and politics driving for changes that have a very real potential to degrade, not enhance, market quality.

STA has established a reputation for providing the SEC, and the Hill, with valuable input based, uniquely, from the consensus view of 5200 professionals representing all business models.

STA finances remain stronger than at any time in our history.

This move will enhance our ability to continue our focus on initiatives targeted to add value for our members and to assure that U.S. equity markets remain the standard for the world in serving all investors.
